Excitement

"On May 18, at three o'clock in the morning, McKinlay reached Skeleton Island and collapsed. He didn't care anymore about bears or the wind chill or frostbite. All he wanted was sleep." on page 252. I think this is the most exciting part of the book, I think this because McKinlay don't really care what happens to him. All he wants is some sleep. I'm excited to see what will happened to him.. If he will wake up and nothing is wrong. Or if he wakes up and is surrounded by bears or something in that nature. I am enjoying the writer style. I think McKinlay won't die by a animal, but I think he will wake up with a horrible cold and some frostbites. I think he will get out of this by finding a way to find supplies that he needs some how. The waters might defrost and he can sailed back. I think he will some how find he way to the ship and sail back in the last half the book. Or somebody will find him there.

Expectations of The Ice Master

I think the book is what I expected it to be so far. I expected it to start off in search of something. That's what it is so far. It is not falling short of my expectations, but right on the line of what I expected. The main characters are Captain Louis Lane and his men. I know that Captain Louis Lane wanted to be the first to claim Herald island for the United States. He found human jaw bones when got to the island and stared digging. I think that Captain Lane was a smart but not wise man. He should have known that the sea/ocean gets bad when it close to winter. He should have set the expedition date earlier or in the spring or the beginning of summer. That is what I think about Captain Lane so far.

The Ice Master

The Book I chose to read was The Ice Master. It is written by Jennifer Niven. The book I am reading is about a Arctic expedition that has  gone wrong. It is a interview of one of the survivor that survived the expedition. I chose this book because I wanted to try something new then the regular books I read. I usually read mystery books, or something about somebody solving something. But, it's sometimes good to try something new. The Ice Master is kind of like a mystery book. So it's right up my alley on books I enjoy to read.
